Course Outline

In Arizona, all OHV owners, including non-residents, must purchase and display an Arizona OHV decal unless:

  • The person is participating in OHV special events or…
  • The person is operating the OHV on private land or…
  • The person is loading or unloading the OHV from a vehicle or…
  • The vehicle is being operated during a period of emergency if directed by a peace officer or…
  • The vehicle displays a valid dealer license plate.

The resident OHV decal must be displayed in the upper left-hand corner of the license plate.

The non-resident OHV decal must be displayed on the left rear-quarter panel of OHVs with three or more wheels, or on the left fork leg on two-wheeled vehicles.
