Having the Required Lights
- Headlights:
- ATVs and limited-use OHMs must have at least one white headlight.
- UTVs must have at least two white headlights.
- The headlight(s) must be able to light objects in front of the machine for a distance of 200 feet.
- Taillights:
- ATVs/UTVs and limited-use OHMs must have at least one red taillight.
- The taillight must be visible for 500 feet behind the machine during the hours of darkness.
- All lights must be lighted:
- During the hours of darkness
- While operating on or along a roadway
- While crossing a roadway
- Red and blue auxiliary lights are reserved for use by emergency vehicles.
