Course Outline

One of the most important considerations of all land use in Maine is illegal or careless ATV riding on private property. More land closures are the result of careless or inconsiderate riders, and that can ruin it for everyone for generations to come. This can result from only one event, such as driving through a farmer’s field and destroying the soils or crops, or by tearing up a private trail or path. As you begin your riding adventures, remember that you are now an ambassador for the greater rising community. You can make a positive impact by riding responsibly and by encouraging your friends and family to do the same. Together, we can work toward a future of safe, high-quality experiences.
