Locating and Signing Up for the Hands-On Training

After passing the online portion of the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department ATV education course, you will need to locate and sign up for the required Hands-On Training.

Locate and sign up for the Hands-On Training in your area.

Important! Bring your Temporary ATV Safety Education Card to the Hands-On Training as proof of having completed the online course.

Warning! Passing the online course does not guarantee you a spot at the Hands-On Training.

What to Expect at the Hands-On Training

Riders will be given a short in-person skills test by an ATV trainer from the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. Students who pass the skills test will have completed their certification.

After attending and passing the Hands-On Training portion of the ATV education requirement, you will receive your ATV Safety Education Card.
