A state-approved course is required for anyone younger than 18 years of age to operate an all-terrain vehicle in Vermont. Today’s ATV Rider in Vermont is the official all-terrain vehicle safety course of the Vermont State Police. Passing this course will allow you to get your Vermont ATV safety education certificate online.

Pay Only $30 for Online Exam

  1. Study the Vermont ORV and ATV safety course material.
  2. Take one or more Practice Tests—free of charge.
  3. Take the Vermont Certification Exam for $30, collected online.
  4. When you pass, you may print out a temporary Vermont safety education certificate. You will receive your official Vermont safety education certificate in the mail.
