ORV Trail Signs


Current ORV Trail Signs

These trail signs are currently seen on trails and roads in Michigan. These signs will be phased out over several years and replaced with the new signs shown on the subsequent pages. (However, some general signs, such as Directional Arrow, Mixed Traffic, etc., shall still remain to be used.)

ORV Route Marker

  • for ORVs of all sizes
  • sections require DNR license unless licensed by Secretary of State

Michigan Cross-Country Cycle Trail Marker

  • for motorcycles
  • sections require DNR license and Secretary of State license

ATV Trail Marker

  • for ATVs and motorcycles
  • DNR license required
