Massachusetts Offroad Information

In order to obtain an OHV Safety Education Certificate, you must complete two distinct courses: this online course and a 2-hour in-person class.

Follow the steps below to complete the certification process.

  1. Complete the online course…

    This is the first step to getting your completion certificate. You must successfully complete the online Offroad Ed Massachusetts course.

  2. Register for the Massachusetts in-person class…

    Upon successful completion of the online course, you must sign up for and complete a 2-hour in-person class.

  3. Complete and pass the in-person class…

    Bring a copy of your online course completion certificate to the in-person class. If you are between the ages of 10 and 16 you must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
