Required Equipment on ATVs
Head Lamp and Tail Lamp:
Every ATV operated from sunset to sunrise shall display a lighted head lamp and tail lamp.
Brakes:
Every ATV shall be equipped with brakes which conform to standards prescribed by the director of transportation.
Mufflers:
ATVs and motorcycles may not exceed an engine noise limit above 96 decibels as tested under SAE J1287.
